David R. "Curley" Langley

David R. "Curley" Langley, 76, of Candia died peacefully August 7, 2016 at his residence after a sudden illness.
Born in Hooksett on October 30th, 1939, he was the son of Carlton and Doris (Leduc) Langley. He was educated in the local Hooksett school system.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by the State of New Hampshire in the Department of Transportation for many years.
Curley enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved the freedom nature offered. He also had a great love of anything antique, including several vintage cars. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his family, especially his wife Lillian, and his beloved dogs Candi and Bailey.
Family members include his loving wife of 30 years, Lillian (Champagne) Langley of Candia; one son, Gary and his wife Carrie Dumont of Ringe, NH; two daughters, Paula and her husband Ronald Lemire of Candia, NH; Theresa and her husband James Robinson of Penacook, NH; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Daniel J. Langley of FL; as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins. David also enjoyed spending time with his two lifelong friends, Robert Duford of Boscawen and Alan Turcotte of Allenstown. David was predeceased by his parents, two children, Michael Langley and Cindy Clark, one grandson Benjamin J. Lemire, and one brother Fred "Sonny" Langley of Hooksett.
There will be no calling hours. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
