He was born in Springfield MA, February 8, 1947, the son of Donald H. and Marilyn (Kattler) Marble.
He completed his high school education in Shelby OH, and entered the United States Army and served from 1966 to 1968 with a tour of duty in Vietnam. While in service to his country he was trained and worked as a civil engineer.
Later David worked as a civil engineer and prior to his retirement worked in IT management for Wachovia.
David was a loyal and avid member of Red Sox nation. He was passionate about collecting and playing guitars, as well as working on his Harley Davidson.
David enjoyed spending time with his loving family and will be missed.
IN HIS LIFE: Family members include his mother, Marilyn of Zellwood, FL; his siblings, Kristen Spate and her husband Joe, of Lebanon, IN, Tracy Untiet, and her husband Tom, of Manchester, Craig and his wife Elaine Marble, of Hooksett, Robin Marble, of Orlando, FL; nieces and nephews, Kerin, Sarah, Brendan, Tanya, Corey, Ryan; a great nephew and 3 great nieces. David was predeceased by his son Eric, and his father Donald.
A service of remembrance took place on Tuesday, January 4, 2011
Committal services followed at the NH State Veterans Cemetery,110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Liberty House 75 West Baker Street
