David Pizza, 64, of Bradford, NH died March 30, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 21, 1953, he was the son of Gino and Norma (Kruger) Pizza. He grew up in Chicago near Midway Airport. He proudly served in the US Navy.
David was a 3rd generation aircraft mechanic. Most recently, he had worked at General Electric in Hooksett for many years.
He was a man of great humor who was passionate about politics, the NRA, reading, airplanes, US veterans and history. He was fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel the world and was a longtime member of the American Legion.
Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who will be greatly missed.
The family was very proud David volunteered to donate his brain for cancer research to Mass General Hospital with the hope of saving future lives.
Family members include his wife, Elaine Pizza of Bradford; his children, Brian Bouchard and wife Beth, Amber Kidd and husband Mark; five granddaughters, Ella, Abby, Maya Bouchard, Amy and Ruth Kidd; his mother, Norma Pizza of Friendship, NY; two brothers, Tim Pizza and Amiee of Bridgeview, IL, Tom Pizza and Inga of DesPlaines, IL; one cousin and several nephews and nieces.
Burial will be private and at a later date.
