Manchester

David Talbot (64) of Manchester, NH passed away on June 24 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was taken from us far too soon. Dave was born on August 3, 1961, to Marcel Talbot and Monique Morin. A lifelong resident of Manchester, he was predeceased by his loving parents.

No one who met Dave will ever forget his kind smile and incredibly laid-back personality – he was truly one of a kind. Dave enjoyed boating, skiing, and anything outdoors. He enjoyed the Winnipesaukee Ice Fishing Derby, spending time with friends, and taking a “hell ride” on his boat after dropping everyone off at the dock. Later in life, Dave enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his three granddaughters, Kennedy, Grace and Quinn.

Dave graduated from West High School, and in 1983, he married his high school sweetheart Donna. They were married for over 43 years. Dave and Donna were true soulmates and went on to create a beautiful family, including their two children, Kendal and Kyle.

Dave could not have been prouder of his kids. He never missed one of Kendal’s dance competitions – as far as Dave was concerned, if Kendal didn’t win it was “rigged.” His son Kyle followed in his footsteps and is now a union carpenter. Dave often said “he’s better than I ever was.”

Dave spent over 40 years as a carpenter with the Boston Local Union 33 where he had a lasting impact on many young carpenters. Dave loved his trade and was always a patient and willing teacher to younger people entering the business. He truly loved and took pride in his craft.

They say you die twice — once when you stop breathing and again when your name is mentioned for the last time and you are forgotten. Dave, you will live forever in our lives and will never be forgotten.

Dave is survived by his wife Donna (Gagnon) Talbot; his daughter Kendal (Talbot) Davidson and husband Joe, and his son Kyle; his three grandchildren, Kennedy, Grace and Quinn Davidson; siblings Dennis Talbot and wife Sandy, Christine (Talbot) Kazakis and husband Dan, and Carol Talbot; beloved brother in laws, as well as countless nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

A private burial will be held Tuesday, June 30. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at the Auburn Pitts Bar & Grill.
