Deborah D. Tartar, 58, of Deerfield, NH died July 2, 2016 in Manchester, NH from injuries received in an auto accident in June.
She was born in Palmerton, PA on July 21, 1957 to Paul and Jane (Anthony) Tartar. She grew up in Walnutport, PA and lived in Lehighton, PA for many years before moving to New Hampshire one year ago.
She served in the U.S. Army for several years and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.
Deborah retired from Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA after working as a licensed practical nurse for many years. Her family would like her to be remembered fondly.
The family includes a daughter, Alanna Franko and her husband, Gabriel, of Deerfield, NH; two grandchildren, Jackson and Elizabeth Franko; her father of Palmerton, PA; a sister, Paula Papay and her husband, Steve Rodrigues of Palmerton, PA; and cousins, a niece, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the cemetery near the Dinkey Memorial Church, 1742 Dinkey Rd., Ashfield, PA. A reception followed at the Dinkey Memorial Church. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, NH assisted the family with arrangements.
