Deborah A. Tully

March 9, 1951 — July 8, 2022

Bedford, NH

Deborah “Deb” Ann Tully, 71, of Bedford, NH died Friday, June 8, 2022 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH from complications of heart and lung disease. She was surrounded by love from her husband, daughters and son in law.

Deb was born in Brockton, MA on March 9th 1951 to Freda (Chambers) & George Francis Yannone.  She was raised in Brockton and educated in the Brockton public school system.  In 1971, she married her high school sweetheart, Michael “Mike” Tully. The 2 met while working at Woolworths in 1968 where Mike worked as a store clerk and Deb worked in the diner.  And so began their story of devotion, love and companionship. They built and raised their family in Brockton, lived in Lunenberg, MA for 15 years and have spent their last 4 years together in Bedford, NH with their fur baby Nemo.

Deb has held various positions throughout her life as the needs of her family evolved over time. As a young woman, Deb worked at the telephone company back in the day when the world had landlines and needed an operator. When her children were born, she became a stay at home mother. Deb then began working at the local public school cafeteria where the hours still allowed her to be with her children and aging father. Years later she became an office administrator for a small business.  Finally, she retired as a supervisor at CVS after 15 years. In her free time, Deb enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, reading her magazines and going to the beach in the summer months. She will be remembered for her determined nature, her ability to speak her mind and live life on her own terms.  Anyone who knew Deb knew her appreciation for cold drinks to be cold and always served with extra ice, loving her daughters and granddaughters endlessly and 50 years of marriage to the love of her life who never left her side.

Deb is survived by her loving husband Michael Tully of Bedford, NH; daughters F. Michelle Blanchette & her husband Stephen of Nashua, NH; Kaitlyn DePristo & her husband Mark of Los Altos, CA and; granddaughters Ava, Arianna, and Amelia DePristo of Los Altos, CA; and brother Dennis Yannone & his wife Minda of Bullhead City, AZ.  She was predeceased by her brothers George Yannone and John “Jay” Yannone.

Services for Deb will be private in honor and respect for her wishes.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Deb’s honor may be made to Boys Town which is an organization Deb’s family has supported for many years.
