Debra R. Kennedy

July 4, 1953 — June 6, 2025

Hooksett, NH

Debra R. (Grimard) Kennedy, 71, of Hooksett, passed away on June 6, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Goffstown on July 4, 1953 to Walter and Claire (Trottier) Grimard. She grew up in Manchester and had been a Hooksett resident for the past 38 years.

Deb is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Brian R. Kennedy of Hooksett; her daughter, Kaitlin Ciaramitaro and husband, Jason; her treasured granddaughter, Ava; and a second granddaughter expected this summer. She also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Helen Kallenberg.

Deb was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a passion for cooking, especially when making “Mimi’s treats” with Ava. She cherished summer days spent boating on Lake Winnipesaukee or cruising the river and treasured her travels to Barbados with family and friends. Whenever things didn’t go quite as planned, she would smile and say, “We’re making a memory”—a reflection of her warm spirit and ability to find joy in every situation. Above all, she found joy in creating lasting memories with those she loved most.

Deb was the owner and president of Barclay Personnel Systems in Bedford for over 20 years. She was a member of the National Association of Personnel Services and the New England Association of Personnel Services, where she held several offices over the years.

Deb’s greatest joy was found in the people she loved and the memories they made together. Her kind heart, gentle humor, and comforting presence will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
