Delia D. (Musetti) Chipman, 97, of New Boston, passed peacefully on Monday, July 30, 2018, at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center in Manchester from natural causes.
She was born in Rutland, VT on January 11, 1921 to Daniel and Josephine (Paolucci) Musetti. She lived in Chelmsford, MA for many years before moving to New Boston in 2003.
Delia enjoyed dancing, especially to New York, New York by Frank Sinatra, watching baseball, listening to the opera and most of all spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Eric M. Chipman in 2006; a daughter, Rosalie Young in 2013, a sister, Clarice Althea Gnerre, and three brothers, Ray, Bruno, and Guy Musetti.
Loving mother of Deborah Desfosses and her significant other, Robert Frazier; adored Noni of Erica Desfosses and her wife, Kathryn, Jody Young, Randy Young and his wife, Kimberly, and Jaime Young and his wife, Holly; great grandmother to seven; and great-great grandmother to three. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Angie and Maddy Musetti; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses and all the staff at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center and the VNA of Manchester (Hospice) for the amazing care that they provided Delia in her final days. Delia was able to once again be the life of the party while under their care.
