Denis J. Boutin

Denis J Boutin, 82, of Manchester, died January 26, 2022 at Catholic Medical Center after a brief period of declining health.

He was born in Saint-Honoré-de-Shenley, Quebec' Canada on October 9, 1939 to Georges and Lucienne (Nadeau) Boutin, and had two brothers and seven sisters.

He began working at the age of sixteen as a lumberjack in both Canada and the US, and in 1964 he pioneered his way to the United States to look for work. Five months later he moved his family and established the Boutin Family in Manchester, NH.

Denis was a Spiritually active person throughout his life. He was a communicant of Ste Marie Parish of Manchester. He was a member of a group called La Rencontre (The Encounter), the Secular Institute of Pope Pious the Tenth of Quebec Canada, and the League of Sacred Heart. This lifelong passion for spirituality was infectious as he brought peace and harmony to many people.

Denis's main focus in life was always his family. He was an exemplary husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an exceptionally positive person with a tireless French Canadian work ethic. He led a simple and unselfish life, dedicated to his family, work, friends and community. He was an avid card player and enjoyed playing with his many friends and family; however, his passion and pride was to keep his lawn meticulously manicured and green. He was also a very active member of community as a pall bearer for many of the Manchester area funeral homes. He was also caregiver driver for many years.

He survived by his wife of 61 years, Rejeanne T. (Couture) Boutin and by their seven children and their spouses: Carole Boutin-Kenney and her husband, Daniel Kenney, of Bow, Clermont Boutin and his wife, Lisa (Hartford), of Manchester, Jacques Boutin and his wife, Diane (Tremblay) of New Boston, Robert Boutin of Portsmouth, and Jean Boutin of Manchester. He was predeceased by Ronald Boutin and France Boutin. He also leaves behind his twelve grandchildren: Eric, Melanie, Matthew, Nicole, Anna, Celine, Luke, Jacob, Caitlyn, Kelly, Karen, and Mallory; and his twelve great-grandchildren: Trevor, Arabella, Bennett, Charlotte, Eliana, Hudson, Clare, Kaden, Mylie, Emma, Carver, and Emry.

The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Catholic Medical Center and the Hillsborough County Nursing home for the good care provided to their father.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Feb 5 2022 at Ste Marie Parish, 378 Notre Dame Ave. Manchester at 10 a.m. It has been requested all in attendance please wear a mask. The burial is private. Although the family will be very grateful to those who attend, they will not be greeting guests after the Mass so as to avoid close social contact. They will plan a future gathering to celebrate Denis's life at a later date in Quebec.

Il est né à Saint-Honoré-de-Shenley, au Québec, le 9 octobre 1939, fils de Georges et Lucienne (Nadeau) Boutin, et avait deux frères et sept sœurs.

Il a commencé à travailler à l'âge de seize ans comme bûcheron au Canada et aux États-Unis, et en 1964, il a fait son chemin vers les États-Unis pour chercher du travail. Cinq mois plus tard, il a déménagé sa famille et a établi la famille Boutin à Manchester, NH.

Denis a été une personne spirituellement active tout au long de sa vie. Il était communiant de la paroisse Ste Marie de Manchester. Il était membre d'un groupe appelé La Rencontre, de l'Institut séculier du pape Pie X du Québec Canada et de la Ligue du Sacré-Cœur. Cette passion de toute une vie pour la spiritualité était contagieuse car il a apporté la paix et l'harmonie à de nombreuses personnes.

L'objectif principal de Denis dans la vie a toujours été sa famille. Il était un mari, un père, un grand-père et un arrière-grand-père exemplaire. Il était une personne exceptionnellement positive avec une éthique de travail canadienne-française infatigable. Il a mené une vie simple et désintéressée, dévoué à sa famille, son travail, ses amis et sa communauté. Il était un joueur de cartes passionné et aimait jouer avec ses nombreux amis et sa famille. cependant, sa passion et sa fierté étaient de garder sa pelouse méticuleusement entretenue et verte. Il était également un membre très actif de la communauté en tant que porteur de drap pour de nombreux salons funéraires de la région de Manchester. Il a également été chauffeur soignant pendant de nombreuses années.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse de 61 ans, Réjeanne T. Couture) Boutin ainsi que leurs sept enfants et leurs conjoints : Carole Boutin-Kenney et son époux, Daniel Kenney, de Bow, Clermont Boutin et son épouse, Lisa (Hartford), de Manchester, Jacques Boutin et son épouse, Diane (Tremblay) de New Boston, Robert Boutin de Portsmouth et Jean Boutin de Manchester. Il a été précédé par Ronald Boutin et France Boutin. Il laisse également dans le deuil ses douze petits-enfants : Eric, Melanie, Matthew, Nicole, Anna, Céline, Luke, Jacob, Caitlyn, Kelly, Karen et Mallory ; et ses douze arrière-petits-enfants : Trevor, Arabella, Bennett, Charlotte, Eliana, Hudson, Clare, Kaden, Mylie, Emma, Carver et Emry.

La famille tient à remercier sincèrement tout le personnel du Catholic Medical Center et du Hillsborough County Nursing home pour les bons soins prodigués à leur père.

SERVICES : Il n'y a pas d'heures d'appel. Une messe d'inhumation chrétienne sera célébrée le samedi 5 février 2022 à la paroisse Ste Marie, 378 Notre Dame Ave. Manchester a 10 a.m. L'inhumation est privée. Bien que la famille soit très reconnaissante envers les personnes présentes, elle n'accueillera pas d'invités après la messe afin d'éviter tout contact social étroit.
