Denis A. Caron, 77, of Manchester, died May 10, 2016 at Elliot Hospital, following a brief illness, surrounded by family.
He was born in St Benjamin P.Q. on April 18, 1939, the son of Archelas and Elisabeth (Mathieu) Caron.
He loved spending time with his family, making maple syrup, and sharing a beer and a laugh with friends. He loved fishing, hunting, and working in his garden growing his beloved tomato plants.
Family members include his beloved wife of 52 years, Muriel (Boucher) Caron; one daughter, Suzanne M. Lyndes and her longtime friend Michael Bell of Auburn; three sons, Steven P. Caron and his wife Diane of Londonderry, Daniel A. Caron of Pinardville, and Eddy S. Caron and his wife Christine of Goffstown; four grand children, Adam, Nathan, Nicole, and Emily. Denis was one of fifteen siblings that included seven brothers, Paul, Edgar, Gabby, Claude, Marc, Yvan, and Guy; and five sisters, Ginette, Brigitte, Esther, Francine, and Sylvie.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Parish of Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St, Manchester. Committal Prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
