Denise (Gomez) D’Amato, 66, of Hampton, NH died November 27, 2022 after a brief period of declining health.

            Born in Orangeburg, NY on May 23, 1956, she was the daughter of Joseph and Kathleen (Clark) Gomez.  She attended Tappan Zee High School and the University of Houston.

            Denise was a talented artist who enjoyed photography, travel and spoiling her grandchildren.  She loved taking pictures of her family. She was a kind neighbor and loved walking on the beach with her dog, Eddie.  She loved to entertain and her door was always open for anyone to stop by for a hug and a hot meal. 

            She was predeceased by her husband, Peter F. D’Amato in 2003. They met in high school and she was a loving wife until Peter’s passing.

            Family members include her sons, John Lucas D’Amato and wife Jenna of Bedford, NH and Peter Travis D’Amato and wife Melissa of Milton, MA.   Her Grandchildren include Isabella, Maria, Matthew and Harrison D’Amato.  She is also survived by her mother Kathleen and her siblings Dan, Debra, Diane, Donna and Dana. 

            Calling hours will be at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, on Friday, December 2nd from 4 to 7 pm.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford, on Saturday, December 3rd at 10 am.  Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date.
