Denise M. Maurice

Denise M. Maurice, 58, of Merrimack, died of brain cancer March 1, 2005 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

Born in Manchester October 27, 1946, she was the daughter of Yvan and Lucienne (Denoncourt) Guimont. Denise was a 1964 graduate of Manchester Central High School.

She lived in Rutland VT, for 17 years before returning to the Manchester area. Most recently she worked for Child and Family Services in Manchester. She was a new member of the Intervale Country Club.

Family members include her husband of 38 years, Thomas Maurice of Merrimack; three children, Catherine Ann Lozier of Jericho, VT, Michael Thomas Maurice of Milford, and Jill Susan Maurice of Henniker; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, David Guimont of Bedford, two sisters, her twin Andrea Rowley of Dover, and Julie Allen of Manchester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She loved her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and helping others. She also loved bowling, golfing with her friends, and doing projects. She was a seamstress and made drapes for all of her family. She also liked remodeling and cross-country skiing.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday March 5, 2005 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Burial was in the spring.
