Dentilde Silva

Dee, as she was lovingly known, was born in Manchester, NH on September 2, 1923 to the late Joseph and Justina Silva.

In her life Dee found pleasure in cooking, baking, sewing and enjoyed riding her bicycle. Family gatherings brought her much happiness.

In her twilite years Dee became a resident at Ridgewood Center where everyone knew and loved her.

To the caregivers at Ridgewood, her family extends their heartfelt thanks.

Dee is survived by a brother Fernando Silva and his wife Thora; a sister, Izzie Johns and her husband Ralph; nephews and nieces. Dee was predeceased by a brother PVT William Silva USMC-WWII and three sisters, Beatrice Ford, Emily Brooks, and Emma Roy.

She was a lifelong parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Parish.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, September 8, 2014 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
