Sister Diana Dumais, C.S.C. (Sr. Suzanne of Rome), 88, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, 357 Island Pond Rd., Manchester, NH, died June 3, 2004, at the Holy Cross Health Center.
Born in Somersworth, NH, January 24, 1916, she was the daughter of Thomas and Anaisse (Desjardins) Dumais.
She entered he Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1941 and made her final profession in 1948. She served the Congregation for 63 years.
She obtained her BA from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH.
She taught parochial elementary school for 36 years in Manchester and Rollingsford, NH. She retired to West Franklin, NH in 1980 and then to St. George Manor in 1998.
Family members include a nephew, grand nieces and grand nephews, and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday June 7, 2004 in the chapel of St. George Manor. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of Holy Cross Development Office, 377 Island Pond Rd., Manchester, NH 03109.
