She was born in Manchester on August 7, 1948, the daughter of Maurice L. and Lucille (Beauchemin) Peloquin. She attended St. Anthony Grammar and High School and earned her nursing degree from Concord Technical College.
Most recently, she had been employed as a registered nurse in the general O.R. at the VA Medical Center in Manchester.
Diane was an extremely intelligent woman who was a breast cancer survivor and loved to garden, golf, and ski. She will be remembered as an artist, craftswoman, and musician who had a special love of animals. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.
Family members include her daughter, Katherine Helm and her husband Tom of Deerfield; her son, Stephen Bourque of Allenstown; her grandchildren, Thomas, Steven, and Lauren Helm, all of Deerfield; her mother, Lucille Peloquin of Manchester; her sister, Lisa Harjula of Manchester; nephews and nieces Tyler Harjula, Alexander Harjula of Manchester, Stephanie Johnson of Barrington, Jeffrey Boulter of Lexington, MA and Angela Dann of Candia.
She was predeceased by her father, Maurice L. Peloquin, two brothers, Raymond and Daniel Peloquin, and former husband Richard Bourque.
The funeral was held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 in the Lambert Funeral Home Chapel. After cremation, urn burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road.
