Diane D. Garst

Diane D. (Morrissette) Garst, 61, of Goffstown, died February 19, 2018 at her home after a brief battle with brain cancer.

She was born in Manchester on October 4, 1956 to Albert and Lorraine (Paquin) Morrissette. She grew up in Bedford then lived in Goffstown for many years. She graduated from West High School in 1974 and later earned a degree in accounting from Hesser Business College.

Diane worked at Huttig Building Products in Hooksett and Digital Equipment Corporation in Merrimack for many years. She enjoyed cars and attending car shows, summertime and visits to the beach, sitting by her pool and reading. She also enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 16 years, John N. Garst in 2000.

The family includes two daughters, Charlene Daly and her husband, Will, of Boscawen and Katherine Garst and her fiancé, A.J. Herrmann, of Manchester; two grandchildren, Sydney and Wyatt Daly; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church, 265 So. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
