Diane A. Hobart

   Diane A. (Shedd) Hobart, 80, of Manchester, died September 16, 2022 at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center after a brief period of declining health.

   She was born in Manchester on January 4, 1942 to Otis and Alice (Boucher) Shedd.  She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

   Diane enjoyed reading by the lake, mudslides at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant, music and time spent with her family.

   She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Alvin J. Hobart; five siblings, Judith Connors, Susan Holt, Madison Shedd, Steven Shedd and Nancy Martel; and a son-in-law, Richard McLaughlin.

   Diane is survived by her daughter, Cynthia A. McLaughlin of Henniker; two grandchildren, Oliver McLaughlin and his fiancé, Brooklyn Beliveau and Maxwell McLaughlin and his fiancé, Mila Danforth, all of Henniker; two great grandchildren, Maverick McLaughlin and Evan Danforth; two brothers, Daniel Shedd of Laconia and Richard Shedd of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews.

   There are no services planned at this time.
