Diane C. Proulx, 71, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Hackett Hill Center in Manchester.
She was born in Manchester, N.H., on December 5, 1953 to Albert and Lucille (Bazin) Desrosiers. She lived in Manchester graduating from West High School in 1974. She married Richard (Dick) Proulx in 1982 and moved to Goffstown. She returned to Manchester after his passing.
Diane worked as a quality control inspector for Summit Packaging for 40+ years, before retiring in 2023. In her spare time, Diane loved watching the birds and squirrels in the back yard and spending time with her family, including her favorite niece Anna Haley and her dogs Lola and Sophie.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Pauline Demanche of Pembroke, Henry Desrosiers of Manchester, Emile Desrosiers of Merrimack, Raymond Desrosiers of Manchester, Ruth Shea of Franklin, Loraine Haley of Manchester, Susan Desrosiers of Manchester, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 22 years and siblings Claire Bushey, Leo Desrosiers and Irene Lavertu.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (2/14) at 10 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
