Dixie C. Chilson

Dixie C. (Carter) Chilson, 79, of Manchester died March 12, 2004 at Elliot Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Auburn, WA on November 1, 1924, she was the daughter of Chester and Bernice (Curtright) Carter. She lived most of her life in California and Texas before moving to Manchester six years ago.

She worked in retail sales for many years.

The family includes seven children, Maxanne Beerworth of Manchester, Marc Chilson of Anchorage, AK, Paula Beaulieu of Manchester, Michael Chilson of Willits, CA, Stephanie Flannery of Graham, WA, Julie Box of Ventura, CA and Jeanne Chilson-Raza of Houston, TX; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial were in northern California. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall St., Manchester 03101.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
