Donald B. Torbich, 80, of Bedford died February 1, 2017 at the Catholic Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Rochester, PA on March 31, 1936, he was the son of Bronko and Emma (Young) Torbich. He earned his bachelor's degree from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. After graduation, he served in the US Air Force National Guard.
He had been employed by Colgate Palmolive and Talon Zippers for many years before retiring from a market manager position with Velcro USA.
Donald enjoyed reading, golfing and traveling with his wife. He was a longtime member and Elder at Bedford Presbyterian Church. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father who cherished time spent with his grandchildren.
Family members include his wife of 52 years, Penelope "Penny" Torbich of Bedford; his daughter, Jennifer Labrecque and husband Jeff of Hooksett; his grandsons, Alex and Jason Labrecque of Hooksett; several cousins and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Bedford Presbyterian Church.
