Donald P. Cornellier

Donald “Don” P. Cornellier 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at The Courville, Manchester, NH, after a long illness. 

Born in Westfield, Massachusetts on March 25, 1938, he was the son to Phillip and Adrienne (Charland) Cornellier. 

 Donald was a graduate of Pittsfield High School in Pittsfield, Massachusetts graduating in 1955. Following graduation, Don proudly joined the United States Navy, serving from 1955- 1959. Don then went on to work for Raytheon, starting as a technician and later becoming a logistics engineer. He retired after 37 years.

Don and Joan lived in Nashua, New Hampshire for 44 years before settling in Hooksett, New Hampshire in 2010. 

Don enjoyed fishing, wood working, especially crafting cupboards, chests and many other beautiful pieces that are now cherished. 

Don is sadly missed by his loving wife of 65years, Joan (Drake) Cornellier; three children, Gregory Cornellier and his wife, Lisa, of Hooksett, daughter, Michelle Myrdek of Gilmanton and son, Jeffrey Cornellier and his wife, Tina of Derry; eight grandchildren Tyler, Blake Jocelyn, Kylie, Myles, Samantha, Harrison and Nathaniel. 

 Don will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. 

 A private burial will be held for Don’s family at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, with military honors.
