Donald J. Demers, 87, of Hollywood, FL died December 16, 2021 after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, NH on October 4, 1934, he was the son of Aldeo and Anna (Leonard) Demers.
He served in the US Navy until his honorable discharge in 1957.
Prior to retirement, Don had worked for Bee Bee Shoe in Manchester for 19 years. Previously, he had worked in the shoe department at Leavitts for 15 years.
He enjoyed cooking, traveling and taking cruises with family and friends.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Roland.
Family members include his husband, Henry "Hank" Beaudet of Hollywood, FL; his sister, Doris Gagnon of Hollywood, FL; a brother, Leo Demers of Hollywood, FL; nephews, nieces and cousins.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A cemetery committal service will be on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Please wear a mask.
