Donald C. Harmon

March 30, 1944 — September 22, 2018

Donald C. Harmon of Manchester who was known to friends and family as "Don", passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center after a short period of declining health, he was 74.

Born in South Portland, ME on March 30, 1944, he was the son of Lincoln and Miriam (Cotton) Harmon. Donald graduated in 1962 from Bonnie Eagle High School, Buxton ME, before enlisting in the United States Army, which he honorably served from 1962-1965. He spent his career in Telecommunications and retired from TDS Telecom.

He was a devoted family man, along with being a man of great Faith. His favorite hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, and most important to him was being involved in his grandchildren's sporting events.

Family members include his beloved wife of 54 years Nancy Harmon of Manchester; daughter Judy Stacy and her husband Jim of Auburn; sons Michael Harmon and wife Riche of Manchester, Jim Harmon and his wife Dawn of Concord, and Tim Harmon and his wife Becky of Springhill FL; 19 grandchildren Chris Harmon, Jessica Welch, Jasmine Welch, Mark Harmon, Matthew Harmon, Mason Harmon, Marshall Harmon, Alex Harmon, Cari Young, Garrett Harmon, Mia Harmon, Holden Harmon, Joshua Harmon, Miriam Harmon, Gabriel Harmon, Kayla Stacy, Marissa Stacy, Crista Stacy, Conor Stacy; and cousins Sylvia Taylor, Elson Harmon, Richard Campell, Ruthann Leipold, Stanley Weeks and Gerald Harmon.

Burial with Military Honors took place on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at South Buxton Cemetery 1187 River Rd, Buxton, ME 04093.

In lieu of flowers Donations may be made in his memory to Southside Bible Fellowship, 200 S. Jewett St., Manchester NH 03103.
