He was born on February 17, 1932, the son of Edward and Lena (Charpentier) LePine. He graduated from local schools and retired from EnergyNorth in 1994. Mr. LePine was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. LePine was an avid fisherman, well-known for his fly tying skills and a member of the Manchester Fly-Fishing Association. He was a member of the League of One Thousand Men of the Monastery of the Precious Blood.
The family includes his wife of 53 years, Willa Mae (Lucas) LePine; two sons, Gary LePine of Manchester and Alan Lepine of Francestown; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Lepine Beliveau and Jean Beliveau of Manchester; a daughter, Karen LePine of Manchester; one sister, Lorraine Callahan of Manchester.
He was also survived by his loving and attentive grandchildren, Jason LePine of Francestown, Jessica LePine of Goffstown, Jocelyn LePine of Manchester, and a great-grandson, Cameron LePine also of Manchester. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Crystal LePine and his brother, Edward LePine.
Mr. LePine was also greatly loved and cared for by his grandchildren's mothers, Jackie LePine and Darlene Boudreau.
A Celebration of his life was held in St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St, on Tuesday October 2, 2007. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
