Donna M. Becker

July 19, 1958 — February 9, 2024

Donna M. (Little) Becker, 65, of Candia, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Concord, M.A., on July 19, 1958 to John and Ruth (Desautel) Little.  She spent part of her childhood in Westford, MA and later moved to Hudson, NH.  She was a proud graduate of Alvirne High School and still talked about the “1” painted on the side of the gym after the soccer team won the season following the great fire in 1974. She resided in Candia from 1983 until her passing, and was known and loved throughout the town.

She met her husband “Jerry” while working at Kollsman’s and they married on May 14th, 1983. They started Becker Transportation in 1985 as co-owners, which is still in business to this day. Donna later worked for the Town of Candia, NH as the Accounting and Payroll Specialist before retiring in 2022.

In her spare time, Donna enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jerry, for various Masonic events around the state and country.   She became known as the “Grand Marshalette” for NH Grand Lodge as Jerry has served as the Grand Marshal for over 17 years. She was a dedicated advisor for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, serving as the Mother Advisor for Maria’s home assembly as well as a year serving as State Mom.  She was a member of Rockingham Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed being the “Mom” for all the Grand Star Points when Maria served as a state officer. She spent many Saturdays in a local bowling alley with Sean while he competed on a bowling team.  She always enjoyed her family reunions and her sibling trips to RI to work on their family history.

Donna passionately loved elephants, being gifted many throughout the years. She also enjoyed collecting Santas, amassing a collection of well over 100. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel when no one was home, as the comments from Jerry, Maria, and Sean tended to be a bit merciless. She loved game shows and royal histories, making watching nightly Jeopardy a staple of the house.

She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Jerome T. Becker.  Their two children, Maria Becker, Sean and his wife, Brianna; Sister Gail Crotto and her husband Gregory, Brother Robert Little I and his wife Sandra, Sister Karen Baron and her husband Bryan, Brother Joseph, and many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and eldest Brother John, “Jackie.”
