Donna L. Forseze
August 31, 1949 — September 14, 2021
Donna L. (Sartorio) Forseze, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and former teacher, returned home to her heavenly father on September 14, 2021, after a brief illness. She was loved and adored by her family, friends and students and will be deeply missed.
Donna was born in Keene on August 31, 1949 to Francis and Sophie (Lang) Sartorio. She graduated from Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey, NH and Perry Normal School in Boston, MA. She later obtained her Masters Degree in Education from Notre Dame College and spent 20 years teaching K-1 students in the Manchester School District, with the majority of those years being spent at her beloved Highland Goffe's Falls Elementary School.
Donna worked tirelessly as a teacher and was dedicated to her students' educational and emotional development. Her dual career was raising her two children, enjoying their successes and then her treasured six grandchildren. Teaching and interacting with her grandchildren became her greatest passion.
Donna had a strong faith in God and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manchester. She never passed up the opportunity to show her faith and to teach and bring others to the Christian faith.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and was extremely kind and generous. She always remembered even the most obscure momentous occasions and anniversaries and loved to decorate and cook for her family during these times and for holidays.
Donna cared for her elderly and ill mother and then father until their deaths in 2011 and 2014, respectively. Words cannot express her gift for giving.
She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband, Joseph A. Forseze in 2008.
Donna is survived by her two children, Marc Gravel and his wife, Angela, of Natick, MA and Sarah Kolakoski and her husband, Jason, of Hinsdale; her adored grandchildren, Chloe, Sofia, Mason, Ava, Anna and Brandie; two siblings, Laurie McNabb and her husband, Sean, and Scott Sartorio and his wife, Lori, of Keene; many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.
