Donna M. Martineau

Donna M. Martineau, 73, of Brandon, FL died Friday March 15, 2024 after an illness.

Born March 15, 1951 in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of John & June (Follansbee) McCarty.   She was raised in Manchester and Londonderry and graduated from local schools.  After high school she attended Hesser College where she received her associate’s degree in computer science.  She worked as a computer programmer for AIG for several years.

In 1992 she moved to Florida where she continued her computer programming career as an independent contractor for several companies.  She was forced to retire in 2017 when she became ill.

In retirement, Donna had many hobbies.  She was active at the Brandon Senior Center, became an Elks board member, and loved knitting, doing puzzles, and Sudoku which kept her mind sharp.

Donna will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her daughter Tricia Delmas and long term partner Derek Fayne, her son Mark McCarty, her brothers David McCarty and his wife Michelle McCarty, John McCarty and his wife Marie McCarty, Daniel McCarty, and her sister Darlene McCarty, her grandsons Justin Martineau, Dylan McCarty and granddaughter Kelsey Domosiaris, and great grandson Brayden Miller along with several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her mother June McCarty (Follansbee), her twin sister Dana Desrochers, her sister Debra McCarty, and niece Kelley Desrochers.

SERVICES:  Calling hours for Donna will be Thursday March 28^th from 9 am to 11 am at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH, followed by a service at 11 am in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Head Cemetery, 16 Pleasant St., Hooksett, NH.
