Donna (Jean) Robinson

Donna (Jean) Robinson, 73, of Goffstown, went to be with her beloved husband Kenneth Sr. and son Kenneth Jr. on April 23rd, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Manchester, NH on September 23, 1948, she was the oldest of six children of the late Martin J. and Helen J. (Callahan) Jean. Donna was a 1967 graduate of Immaculata High School in Manchester, NH.

Prior to retirement, Donna worked as the Medical Benefits Administrator for Allegiant Care (formerly known as Northern New England Benefit Trust) International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local Union 633. Donna served as the main contact for eligible member employees and their families. She managed their medical health benefits and made sure they understood every aspect of the coverage being offered. In addition to that task, she was also responsible for the office payroll.

After 25 years of employment, Donna then set her heart on doing the things she enjoyed most which was laughing and spending memorable times with her family and friends whether it be at a large family gathering or sipping her morning coffee watching for her favorite hummingbird and cardinal at the birdfeeder. She loved gardening, especially around her koy pond filled with many fish which all had names thanks to her grandchildren, spending time up in Orford, NH at the family camp on the Connecticut River and boating on their pontoon "party" boat AKA "The Edmund Fitzgerald." Donna also enjoyed her quiet time that involved walking on the beach and Yoga which brought her to a challenging accomplishment due to her illness yet a rewarding dream come true of becoming certified as an instructor of Kripala Yoga.

Her angelic and utmost soft and gentle nature was admired by all who knew her as she was able to find the light even on the darkest day. As she once had said, "I am one with the ocean."

Donna was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth P. Robinson Sr. in 2021 and her son, Kenneth P. Robinson Jr. in 2020.

Family members include her daughter, Kyna Patterson and husband Sheamus; daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Prentiss) Robinson; seven grandchildren, Josiah, Xaiden, Faith, Liam, Delaney, Rory, and Seamus. She was also predeceased by two brothers and she also leaves behind a sister, two brothers and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Donna's daughter would like to thank Dr. Linda Kornfeld and Dr. Charles Mills of Elliot Palliative/Hospice Care and their associates along with VNA of Manchester for the tremendous care and support they provided both Donna and her family. Also, a special thank you to one particular RN Renee (Tina) of Manchester VNA who was just simply the best with her bedside compassion and her willingness to go above and beyond any way she could. To all others who helped or reached out in any way a sincere thank you to all as well.

There are no services planned at this time. A celebration of Donna's life will be announced at a later date.
