Dora E. Goudreau

Dora Estelle Goudreau, 87, of Manchester died December 29, 2006 at a local health care facility after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester on February 5, 1919, the daughter of Armand and Bertha (Roy) Prud'Homme. She was educated in the local school system.

Prior to retirement, she had worked for Myrna Shoe Company for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Goudreau in 1995 and a son, Leo Goudreau in 1978.

Dora loved to play bingo, wear New Orleans beads, and laugh with family and friends. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Family members include three daughters, Theresa Dionne of Manchester, Doris Lambert of Goffstown, and Pauline Locke of Manchester; one son, Gerard Goudreau of Florida; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Aurele (Theresa) Bellerose of Manchester, and Rita Langelier of Manchester; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A celebration of her life was Monday January 1, 2007 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester. Urn burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
