Dora (Maurier) Page, 96, of Manchester died March 7, 2009 at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester on November 28, 1912, she was the daughter of Henry and Flora (Hebert) Maurier. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Along with her husband, Raymond Page who died in 1993, she was co-owner of Ray's Lunch which later became Belmont Hall & Restaurant.

Mrs. Page was proficient at sewing, knitting and crocheting. Until recently, she offered those services to many of her family and friends. She was always willing to help and had volunteered many hours of service at Elliot Hospital, including making bonnets for newborns.

She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, the Queen City Promenaders, and was a communicant of St. Pius X Church.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes three children, Normand Page and his wife, Doris of Bedford, Albert Page and his companion, Louise Dickey of Pembroke, and Simonne Huot and her husband, Roland of Manchester; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Gingras of Manchester; a brother, Raymond Maurier of Manchester and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lucille Lawrence and by two brothers, Armand Maurier and Laurent Maurier

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Rd. and Sarto St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the chapel at St. Augustin Cemetery, So. Beech St., Manchester.
