Doris B. Rajotte

Doris B. Rajotte, 84, of Goffstown, died December 19, 2017, at Merrimack Community Hospice House, after a period of declining health.
She was born in W. Warwick, RI on March 30, 1933 and lived in Goffstown for many years.
Doris was a graduate of Our Lady of the Mountains Academy, Gorham. She was a member of Sisters of the Presentation of Mary for 22 years, and served as Postulant Director. She left the convent in 1975. She was an educator in parochial and public schools in Hudson, at Rivier College, and the Dale Carnegie Institute for 48 years. Doris retired in 2000 and spent time working at Blessed Sacrament as DRE, and thereafter, at Sacred Heart Church as a receptionist.
Family includes one brother, Theodore Lemek and wife Kathleen of Northport, FL; two nieces, Christina Burke (Brandon) Burke, and Joan Smith; one nephew, James Smith and wife Grace; and longtime friends, Muriel and Brian Riel, and Fr. Michael Sevigny, O.F.M. Cap. She was predeceased by her mother Jeannette Lemek; and her grandparents, Herve and Blanche Rajotte, who were a very important part of her life.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
