Doris M. Beaudet

Doris Marie Beaudet passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Ocala, FL. A longtime resident of Manchester, NH, she was born on June 23, 1944, a daughter of Normand and Bernadette (Faucher) Courtemanche. 

Doris was dedicated to raising her five children, took great pride in being an exceptional homemaker, and loved being a mother. She filled her home with warmth and music, and could often be heard singing along to her favorite tunes. She enjoyed cooking from scratch and her meals often included a dessert. She worked to make holidays and birthday celebrations magical events and delighted in searching for whatever gift would be most meaningful to the recipient. Her ability to strike up a conversation turned any stranger into a friend and served her well in her part-time work adventures over the years. Doris loved the seaside and spent many summers visiting her beloved Hampton Beach, whether it be for weeks at a time or a simple Sunday drive in her bright red convertible with husband Pete. She will be deeply missed by her family. 

Doris was predeceased by her devoted husband of 54 years, Pierre (Pete) Beaudet and her sister Mariette (Marie) Courtemanche. She is survived by her children, Michele Beaudet-Miller, Suzanne Newman, Denise Beaudet, Camille Beaudet, and Philip Beaudet; sons-in-law Kenneth Miller and Peter Newman; four grandchildren, Kathrine Wunderli-Bastian, Ethan Miller, Alissa Miller, and Samuel Newman; siblings Alice Walsh and Andre Courtemanche; and her nieces and nephew.

SERVICES: A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sainte Marie Parish Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester, NH, on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., followed by Interment services at Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH.
