Doris S. (Turgeon) Bedard

Doris S. (Turgeon) Bedard, 87, of Manchester died June 25th, 2016 at the Catholic Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Rochester, NH on May 9th, 1929, she was the daughter of Wilfred and Irene (Landry) Turgeon. She was educated in the Manchester school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been the bookkeeper and Office Manager for the Swiftwater Council of the Girl Scouts.
Doris was a member of the Dames de St. Anne at the former St. Jean de Baptiste Parish. She also had served on the parish council, taught CCD and served as a Eucharist Minister at St. Edmund Church prior to its closure. She was a heck of a good cook and will be remembered above all else as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband Rene Bedard in 1983 and son-in-law Timothy Huff 2013.
Family members include her three daughters, Laure Huff of Manchester, Marie Silva and husband David of Goffstown, and Elise Cote and husband Phil of Goffstown; her three sons, Paul Bedard and wife Nancy of Goffstown, Jean Bedard of Goffstown, and Rene Bedard of Goffstown; her grandchildren, James Huff, Christopher Bedard, Melissa Silva, Aimee Lee, Matthew Silva, Alyson Cote, and Rylan Bedard; her great-grandchildren, Gwen, Harper, Ava, Thatcher, Blake and Ajay and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Alsace and Kelley Sts. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Donations may be made in her memory to Mt. Carmel Nursing Home to support the Healing Garden, 235 Myrtle, Manchester, NH 03104.
