Doris V. Blades

She was born in Baltimore, MD on October 23, 1926, the daughter of Carroll and Emma (Webster) Vansant. She was a graduate of Eastern High School in Baltimore and earned her bachelor's degree in 1949 from Western Maryland College in Westminster, Maryland(now McDaniel College).

She enjoyed traveling and was a member of Questers and P.E.O.

Family members include her husband of 62 years, John D. Blades of Manchester; three daughters, Catherine A. Blades and husband Bugs Beaurivage of Epsom, NH, Jane B. Hoover and husband Michael of Merrimack, NH, and Patricia B. Terrell of St. Charles, MO; one grandson, Ethan Hoover. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Richard Terrell in 2009.

Funeral services were private and at the convenience of the family.
