Doris P. Carrier

She was born in Berlin, NH July 28, 1918 a daughter of Dr. Alexander and Antoinette (Leblond) Berube. She was a graduate of St. Regis Academy and Miss Russell's Beauty School. She worked at Alice Beauty Shop on Oak St. in Berlin until 1945 when the family relocated to Manchester, NH where she was a stay at home mom to raise their four children. Her husband, Henry J. Carrier died February 27, 1989.

Doris had been a member of St. Theresa parish until they merged with Blessed Sacrament Church.

Family members include three sons, Henri of Manchester, NH, Richard and his wife Carol of Gilbert, S.C. and David of Lake Wales, FL; a daughter, Carolyn Bottomley of Ashland, NH; four grandsons, Eric Carrier, Craig Carrier, Jeffrey Riggs and Nathan Riggs; a granddaughter, Melissa Hatch; three great grandsons, Cameron, Austin and Ryder; five great granddaughters, Courtney, Madison, Makayla, Ryleigh and Mackenzie; three sisters, Priscilla Desilets of Berlin, Marcelle Benz and her husband Arnold of Ocala, FL and Jacqueline Bergeron of West Lebanon, NH; a sister in-law, Jeanne Hermsdorf of Manchester, NH; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven sisters and three brothers.

Doris was very active with her friends at Derryfield Village.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial was in St. Augustin Cemetery.
