Doris T. Gagnon, 89, recently of Rochester, New Hampshire, and formerly of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on January 21, 2026, just days shy of her 90th birthday.
Born on January 25, 1936, in Manchester, New Hampshire, Doris was the daughter of the late Aldeo and Anna (Leonard) Demers.
In her early years, Doris worked in Manchester, where she met and married her husband, Raoul “Ralph” Gagnon. Together they raised two children and shared many cherished family memories, especially during their camping trips. Doris was widowed in August of 1995.
Doris retired at the age of 62 and, one year later, relocated to Hollywood, Florida, where she wholeheartedly embraced retirement. She remained active and social, enjoying walks at TY Park, line dancing, and time spent with friends and neighbors by the pool. She also found joy in playing bingo, reading, and listening to her treasured collection of music boxes.
In addition to her husband, Ralph, Doris was predeceased by her son, Anthony “Tony” Gagnon; her grandsons, Eric Bischoff and Daniel Bischoff; and her brothers, Raymond, Roland, Donald, and Leo Demers.
She is survived by her daughter, Laurette (Gagnon) Beaulieu, and son-in-law, Pierre Beaulieu, of Rochester; her daughter-in-law, Marie Gagnon, of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Timothy Gagnon, Mathew Gagnon, Roxanne Bischoff, and Pierre J. Beaulieu and his wife, Tina; and her five great-grandchildren, MaKenzie, Timothy “TJ,” Teagan, Zoey, and Callie; sisters-in-law Lucille Demers and Pauline Cote, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling Hours will be from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a Service to follow promptly after at 6:00pm on Friday, January 30th, 2026 at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St. Manchester, NH.
