Doris M. (Dot) Gordon, age 85, of Candia, died March 26, 2023 from complications from strokes, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on June 16, 1937, she was the daughter of George Glaude and Flora St. Onge. She attended St. Marie Grammar School and graduated from Manchester High School Central, class of 1955.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a legal secretary for over 35 years. After retirement she and her husband moved to Florida. They lived there for 18 years before moving back to NH as a widow.
Doris enjoyed living in Florida, visits from her family, water aerobics, and playing cards with neighbors and friends in Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Gordon in Florida in 2012; her brothers: Richard Loranger, Harry Loranger, Robert Loranger, Tom Loranger, David Loranger and Pete Loranger and her sisters, Nancy Moquin, Judy Pratte, Virginia Simoneau, and Sue Loranger.
Family members include her daughters: LeeAnn Richardson, of Bradford, Bonnie Saeedi, of Colorado and Holly Haas, wife of William Haas of Candia. It was Holly and William who provided all the love and care in her final years. She had 9 Grandchildren, Michael, David and Tom Richardson, Kristen Ramsey, Kelley Queen and Malachy Saeedi, Joseph, Brandon and Elliot Haas. Seven Great Grandchildren, Emily, Courtney, Addison and Bradley Williams, Braydon Haas, Heidi Haas and soon-to-be-born Oliver Duncan Haas and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Kelley Rozen, her niece, for helping in the final weeks of her life. She appreciated it more than she could say.
A funeral service will be held in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be held on June 17, 2023 at 11 am.
