Doris C. Jacques

Doris C. Jacques, 74, of Manchester died September 17, 2017 at the Community Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on February 26, 1943, she was the daughter of Henry and Lillian (Chaput) Smith. She was educated in the local school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Christy's Convenience Store as a cashier.
Doris loved playing bingo and entertaining a house full of family members. She will be remembered as a loving and devote wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt by all who knew her.
She married the love of her life, Gerald L. Jacques on April 22, 1961 who predeceased her in 1992. Their family is grateful for the love they shared and time together.
Family members include her children, Theresa Green and husband Steve of North Adams, MA, Patricia Williams and husband Anthony of Manchester, Paul Jacques and wife Marilyn Dickerman of Manchester; six grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
A graveside committal service was held on Friday, September 22, 2017 in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
