Doris G. (Chauvin) Lupien, 70, of Candia died peacefully at home on January 21, 2022, surrounded by her family after a long illness.
Doris was born in Manchester, NH on June 11, 1951 to Leo-Paul and Gabrielle (Leclerc) Chauvin. She grew up in Manchester and graduated from St. Anthony's High School. Doris enjoyed 49 years of marriage to her husband Marcel. Prior to retirement, Doris worked in food service at Candia Moore School for 25 years.
Doris enjoyed spending her time shopping and going for walks with her friends, mahjong, following TV shows, reading, and connecting with friends and family on Facebook. She loved big cities and traveling, particularly Florida. Her favorite thing in the world was being a mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Doris is survived by her husband Marcel Lupien of Candia; her daughter Lynne Lupien & her husband Christopher Hazel of Lowell, MA; her son Jeffrey Lupien & his wife Jennifer (Hart) Lupien of Natick, MA; her brother Paul Chauvin & his wife Lorraine of Manchester; her brother Marc Chauvin & his wife Jane of Bartlett; her grandchildren Maeve & Maxwell Lupien; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Guy Chauvin.
SERVICES: A walk-through visitation with masks, social distancing and limited interaction with the family is Friday January 28th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A funeral service, with committal prayers, will be held on Saturday January 29th at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Please wear a mask. A luncheon will follow.
