Doris T. Madden

Doris Therese Madden, 89, of Manchester died August 10, 2016 at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lincoln Park, MI, on April 18th, 1927, she was the daughter of Donat Henri and Annette (Bourque) Mailhot. She was a graduate of St. George High School for Girls here in Manchester.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed for 35 years as a clerk with New England Telephone and Telegraph and then Verizon.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time at the beach. She was a longtime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt and great-aunt who will be greatly missed by her family.
She was predeceased by her husband John Francis Madden.
Family members include her sister, Pauline Poulos and husband Joseph of Manchester; her nephew, Gregory Poulos and wife Sara; her great-nephews and great-nieces, Joe, Ellie, Zoie, and John Poulos.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
