Doris F. Roy

Doris F. Roy, of Pinardville, died July 8, 2004, at her residence, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Manchester, December 7, 1923, she was a daughter of William and Mary (Royer) St. Onge. She attended St. Jean Baptiste grammar school and St. George High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Manchester-Pinardville area.

Before retiring in 1992 she was coordinator for the elderly nutrition program, meals on wheels, at St. Raphael Church. She also made wedding cakes for many years.

She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, the NH Veterans Association, and Primetime. In addition she was a member of the Bonko Club and tue Widows Club.

She was married to Roland J. Roy who died in 1991.

Family members include two sons, Robert A. Roy and Philip N. Roy, both of Goffstown; two daughters, Elayne Trudel of Manchester, and Donna Kolenski of Goffstown; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger St. Onge of Manchester, and Robert "Pete" St. Onge of Candia; three sisters, Rita Duval of Storrs, CT, Jeannette Filteau of Goffstown, and Lorraine Guyette of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday July 12, 2004 at Parish of the Transfiguration. Encryptment followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
