Doris T. Cyr

Doris T. Cyr, 93, of Manchester, died peacefully on April 9, 2017 at Hillsborough County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Manchester on September 12, 1923, she was the daughter of Aime and Laura (Messier) Lambert. She worked for over 30 years as a utility worker at Bee Bee Shoe before retiring in 1987.
Doris loved to watch Western movies. She enjoyed dancing with her husband Maurice. They were parishioners of St. Pius X Parish for many years and very active members in the church.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Maurice P. Cyr, in 2013.
Family includes one son, Mark Cyr and wife Julie of Manchester; two grandchildren, Krystal Karanikas of New York, and Matthew Cyr of Greenfield; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the chapel at St. Augustin Cemetery, S. Beech St., Manchester. Memorial donations may be made to: Autism Speaks, New England Chapter, 85 Devonshire St., 9th Floor, Boston, MA 50037-0148 (newengland@autismspeaks.org).
