Doris Dora Turcotte, 84, of Manchester died May 28, 2017 after a period of declining health surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on April 20, 1933, she was the daughter of Oliva and Laura (Marcoux) Gagnon. She was educated in the local school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Pandora Industries for many years.
She especially enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, playing card games and having conversations with her friends and family. She had a wonderful sense of humor, tremendous wit, and had a quiet strength that was inspirational for her family. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.
Her husband of 62 years, Robert L. Turcotte died in April of 2016.
Family members include her daughters, Bonita Richard and husband Raymond of Litchfield, Patricia and husband Denis Bourgeois of Manchester, Priscilla Swenson and husband Christopher of Winnetka, IL; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Gagnon and wife Theresa of Hooksett; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother, Roland (Pete) Gagnon.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St. Committal prayers followed in Mt Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
