Dorothea J. Provost

Dorothea J. "Dottie" (Mann) Provost, 71, of Manchester died November 19, 2004 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Norway, ME on March 26, 1933, she was the daughter of W. Mayford and Florence (Fletcher) Mann. She lived in Greensboro, NC for several years before moving to Manchester in 1960.

Mrs. Provost earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Tufts University in Medford, MA. She later worked with her husband at the Paul R. Provost Insurance Agency representing State Farm Insurance Companies for many years.

The family includes her husband of 49 years, Paul R. Provost of Manchester; four daughters, Andrea J. Roux of Bedford, Lisa C. Hardy of Manchester, Janine C. Gelinas of Auburn and Diane P. Bolduc of Manchester; six grandchildren and one great grandson; nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday November 23, 2004 in St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester.
