Dorothy P. Brent

She was born in Sioux City, Iowa February 10, 1919 and was the daughter of Andrew and Minnie (O'Keefe) Rasmussen. She lived in Hollywood, CA for many years and in Nashua, Concord, Manchester, 30 years in Suncook, and had been a resident of Derry the past 2 years.

During World War II she worked as an aircraft rivet inspector.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

She loved baseball.

She was married 54 years to Cecil J. B rent Sr., who died in 2004.

She leaves a son, Cecil J. Brent Jr. of Suncook; two grandchildren, David Brent and Melinda Tonkin, both of Canterbury; two great grandchildren, Robert Tonkin and Ava Tonkin; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Encryptment will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at the convenience of the family.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 St., Manchester, was in charge of arrangements.
