Dorothy A. Cady

Dorothy A. Cady, 83, of Manchester, died March 14, 2007, in CMC. She was born in Manchester, July 8, 1923, and was the daughter of Joseph and Emma (McMillian) Dalton. She was educated locally, and was a communicant of St. Raphael Parish.

Dorothy worked for many years in the bakery at the former Ferretti's market. She will be remembered for her feistiness and being a worked renowned chocoholic.

Family members include her son; Michael and his wife Katherine (Gorski), of Manchester; 2 grandsons, Steven and David Cady; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, James Dalton, of FL, Donald Dalton, Joseph Dalton, both of Manchester; she was predeceased by her sisters, Maureen Dukshire, Eileen Kehas, Lorraine Philibert, Marguerita Eldridge; many nephews, nieces and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday March 19, 2007 in St. Raphael Church 103 Walker St. Manchester.

Burial took place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Donald St. Bedford.
