She was born in Manchester on March 3, 1920, the daughter of Ludger and Annie (Martin) Pepin. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Dorothy had worked for J.F. McElwain Shoe for many years, but the role she most enjoyed was that of wife and mother. Dorothy cherished her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her eldest son, Roger G. Daigle.
She leaves her beloved husband of 73 years, George E. Daigle of Manchester; two children, Richard E. Daigle, his wife Judy of Manchester, and Jacqueline A. Dodge, her husband Johnny of Sarasota, FL; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial took place on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in St. Anne-St. Augustin Church, 383 Beech St., Manchester. Burial was in St. Augustin Cemetery.
