Dorothy V. Farland, 56, of Manchester died October 20, 2002 at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on August 19, 1946, she was the daughter of Roger and Ruth (Capen) Farland. She was a resident of Manchester most of her life.
Miss Farland worked as an insurance examiner for the State of New Hampshire for many years, and for the State of New York for nine years.
She was an avid bowler and was a member of the Woman's International Bowling Congress. She was also a member of various bowling leagues at Stadium Ten Pin in Manchester.
The family includes her parents of Manchester; a brother, Ray Farland of Manchester; a niece, Lori Barnwell of Derry; three aunts, one uncle and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday October 23, 2002 in St. Anthony Church, corner of Belmont and Harvard streets, Manchester. Encryptment was in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
