Dorothy M. Fournier

She was born in Lewiston Maine on August 13, 1924 to Albert and Marie (Alton) Fournier. She was educated in Lewiston.

Dorothy worked many years for the Dorson Fleisher Shoe Co. and later for Briston Manor Nursing Home.

She loved spending time working outside gardening and caring for the grounds around her home. She also enjoyed traveling in the United States and abroad.

Family members include her longtime friend, Jean Hodgdon, four nieces, Joan Fournier Neagle and her husband, George, Deanna Bechard and her husband, Bobby, Jacqueline Grenier and her husband, Bob, and Suzanne Dackmine; two nephews, Robert Dackmine, Glenn Neagle and his wife, Bea, and their children, Ashley, Courtney, Nick and Eric; and many friends at the Courville Community in Manchester.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.
