Dorothy Nixon, 85 of Manchester NH entered heaven's gate on May 14, 2017 at Maple Leaf Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born in Nemacolin, PA on September 6, 1931, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kurtick) Buday.
Dorothy loved living in New Hampshire where she enjoyed the seacoast, eating lobster, traveling around New England and being an avid Red Sox fan. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that cherished time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her son, Paul B. Nixon, Sr in 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Myra Nixon and her spouse Gail Jensen of Manchester NH, her grandchildren, Paul B Nixon, Jr and Aaron Nixon and wife Leigh-Ann, PA. Her great-grandchildren, Damyen Boyer and Auroryn Boyer, NH. Elizabeth Stanton, Rachel Nixon, Bradley Nixon, Sheila Nixon, PA. Her great-great grandchildren Kellin Buchholtz and Isabella Buchholtz, PA along with Gail's' daughter, Gretchen Sanville and husband Steven, Keri Schwartz, NH.
Funeral Services and burial will be held in McCellandtown PA at a later date.
